Social Security

Social security law refers to the rules and procedures controling eligibility for and administration of social security welfare benefits, e.g. Income Support, Job Seeker's Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Disability Living Allowance, Tax Credits, Child Benefit, Housing Benefit etc. It also refers to the procedures for applying for a review of a decision to refuse a benefit, or for making an appeal against such a decision.
