Eric Graham
in Memoriam
16 March 1924 — 21 Jan 2011
Renfrewshire Law Centre Director since 26 Jan 1999
Chair, 2000 — 2010
It is with great sadness that Renfrewshire Law Centre has to report the death of Eric Graham during the evening of 21 January 2011 peacefully at his home with family. Eric served as a Director of Renfrewshire Law Centre from 26 January 1999, acting as Chairman from 2000 to 2010, our longest serving chairperson ever. As Director and Chairman he gave of his time wholly voluntarily, and Renfrewshire Law Centre is indebted to him for his stalwart support over the years. Retired for two decades, Eric had worked as a production engineering manager with Weirs Pumps until 1980, and he also spent a spell as a taxi driver. He was an extremely active local community volunteer, acting as Church Elder, Boys Brigade Battalion Leader, and Board Member for Williamsburgh Housing Association and Williamsburgh Property Services. Eric was also a fond family man, having raised three sons to adulthood, including two who continue to live locally and one who lives in Australia. Renfrewshire Law Centre’s thoughts and sympathies are with Eric’s wife, Elma, and his other family at this time.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:—
- Wednesday, 2 February 2011, 1.00 p.m., Service at St Columbus Church, Foxbar
